M240

New construction of the M240 production support and laboratory building at the Görzhausen site. The new 3-storey building M240 with a total area of 12,000 square metres houses essential functions to support the neighbouring production facilities as well as modern laboratories. Following the start of construction in September 2012, the new building unit was completed on schedule and forms the basis for further investments to expand production in the neighbouring buildings M300 and M305, CSL-Behring announced.

Around 600 employees have moved from neighbouring buildings into the laboratory levels of M240 for their work in the production operations.

At the heart of M240, which covers 7,000 square metres on two floors, are 13 laboratories in the Analytical Services Quality department. For the first time, around 180 employees from the QC department, who have been spread across six buildings at both sites for years, can now work together in one building.
